After a lovely X'mas, suddenly we have heard the disaster of earthquake, many many childrens, people lost their families and the ones they loved. Here is the notice from World Vision, hope you can help someone they needed.

亞洲地震及海嘯災民亟待救援

亞洲多國慘遭突如其來的大地震及海嘯災難吞噬，至今已有逾萬人死亡、大量房屋及道路等被海水沖毀。無數災民在痛失摯親之餘，正陷於無家可歸及缺糧缺水之中。

世界宣明會已於各國展開緊急救援工作，以濟災民燃眉之急，並於稍後協助災民重建家園：

開始向20萬名災民派發熟食，並陸續派發乾糧、毛毯、衣物、清潔食水及藥物等救援物資
印度


協助疏散及臨時安置災民，並向他們派發糧食

Asia earthquake and tidal waves victims in dire need

The tidal waves, triggered by a powerful earthquake, cause devastating destruction throughout Asia. Over 10,000 people are dead. Houses are swept away and roads are destroyed. Countless displaced victims lose their families and are in lack of food and water.

World Vision is there to respond immediately by distributing emergency relief items and will launch rehabilitation work afterwards:

Sri Lanka


Relief supplies including cooked food, dry rations, blankets, clothing, cooking utensils, clean water and medicine are distributed to 200,000 victims. Clean water and medicine will also be distributed.
India


Assist in evacuation of victims, provide temporary shelter and food for them.
